Trilogy and Windows 7 |

Thanks to David I eliminated the Invalid Argument error message on my new Windows 7 laptop by installing the version C patch that I thought was in place but
wasn't. New problem: I've only played a few games but have noticed that results I know occurred (at-bats against various pitchers) have not
registered in the batter-pitcher matchups of the Score area of Trilogy. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks, jim255

Just a thought ... it sounds as if you may be only seeing data from a previously loaded (and now only "partial") set of box scores. Try exiting from
the program and restarting, which will have the effect of forcing Trilogy to reload ALL box scores data (by asking you again to point it to the database/season
that you're interested in exploring).

You might also want to go into the season folder in question and delete the file named TrilogyPlayers and then restart Trilogy.

Thanks for your input, Sposfan1, but before I do anything irreversibly damaging, how specifically do I "exit from the program and restart"? On some
of these things I need the dumbed-down version, I'm afraid.

no worries, doing this won't affect anything. All you have to do is close trilogy completely, erase the file and then restart trilogy.

Sorry to be so thickheaded, but when I try to delete the Trilogy Players file, it tells me only to do this only if I want to restart a season, which I
don't want to do since I'm in the middle of one. And how exactly do I erase the file and restart Trilogy? I appreciate your help and patience.

Don't sweat it, absolutely no need to apologize, I should have been clearer. What you want to do is delete the trilogy players file from windows explorer,
NOT from within trilogy. Close Trilogy first, then, on your desktop, click on My Computer. Select the hard drive where you DMB folder is. find the dmb9
directory and then click on the season directory in question. delete the file called Trilogy Players. Then restart Trilogy and it will automatically redo the
file and should do the trick.

Sposfan is everywhere! Kind of like the Shadow, except that sposfan thinks that sposfan will be pulling a Rickey this weekend and refer to himself in the 3rd
person.

Though sposfan might refer to himself in the third person AND in capital letters, I don't think that's who DaddyO meant. P.S. Other words to avoid: anything starting with "g" and ending with "raphics"

Of course it's not, but sposfan must do all that sposfan can to make sure no Beetlejuice situation occurs!
