Formed in 2008, the Bats & Bytes Baseball League uses the latest season and version of DMB with the goal to provide a competitive, fair, friendly atmosphere while sharing a love of baseball among its member/owners. The league will encourage head-to-head playing of games over the internet with the possibility of each owner personally playing all 162 of their team's games at a pace of three 3-game series per week over approximately 5 months.
B&B consists of 30 teams with 2 leagues, Bats and Bytes, each with 3 divisions, 5 teams per division. A season will consist of each team playing a 162-game schedule with inter-league play. If a team does not have a human manager, the league will manage the team via the computer manager until a human owner can be found.
