Wally Moon and Ron Fairly saying ok, ok take it!

The context was that the Giants outfield had been having communication problems. So, now, on a ball that was hit just a few steps to the left of center, naturally the Giants center fielder, Rowand, yelled his butt off that it was his, and Kuiper responded with this sarcasm-laced call.

I've never heard Kuiper, but you make him sound like a very enjoyable announcer. As for me, I'm stuck with Milo Hamilton and his toadies.

Minor Leaguer (AAA) Posts: 275 (10/10/09 07:46 AM) Reply Quote More My Recent Posts Message Me Connection Blocking Invite Ignore User's Posts	Kuiper occasionally does a few innings of radio, but mostly I listened to he and Mike Krukow on the MLB Extra Innings package on tv. They really are a special pair, in my opinion, and make the Giants' broadcasts really enjoyable. At $169 for the season, only about a buck a game, I find that money well spent.

So, even though I am more than 550 miles from the Bay area, I can't see those "local" teams on the MLB package.

I mean, I wonder why they'd want to claim Las Vegas as their territory when they don't broadcast their games to that location? I must be missing something about marketing technique.
