In a centralized league, team playing in Mile High, 1994, the computer manager was incredibly smart, and then incredibly dumb.
In a game it was getting blown out, it allowed Pete Schourek to stay in for 6.0 innings and allow 16 runs. THEN, it proceeded to use five relievers for the last three innings.
Using relievers and closers are both set to neutral.
I have no problem with it pulling Schourek after 113 pitches. But then to not use a single pitcher as the 2nd sacrificial lamb seems a bit silly to me.
Thoughts?
