Just to give another point of view, I've had experience with E-License for some years through OOTP. Never had a problem with it. Once I fed in the registration code the first time I started up the game, it was good to go until I unlicensed it. After that initial boot, the game started up normally every time without needing any further registration action. Pretty transparent really. E-License's software caused no difficulties to my aging and not terribly fast computer.  If someone accidentally burned their licenses (eg. hard drive crash or forgetting to unlicense before buying a new computer) and needed a reset, E-License was said to be responsive to the situation and usually got things resolved within a few days.

After reading Diesel's answers to various queries, my only concern with E-License is that there will be a limit to how many machines you can have running DMB at any one time. Doesn't affect me personally, but depending on the final decision on the exact number, those who have the game running on several machines may have to adjust their playing habits. Other than that, the move to E-License looks like a non-issue to me. Not sure how long E-License has been in business, but given the last few years of DMB history, I'd say there's more chance of DMB going away than losing E-License. Nice to hear that Dayne is saying all the right things again. Maybe this time things really will be different. Soon enough we'll find out if he can walk the walk.
