I thought one of the bigger of things coming out of the chat was Dayne's comment he and Luke would be discussing community involvement. I know with as much great homebrew programs, season disks, manager profiles, reports, etc. that have been created that they could easily be incorporated into the game. I'm sure most of us would have no problem with our work being included in the game.

As the comment about the marketing guy saying future major DMB-PC programming wasn't cost justified - I can understand that. I worked in marketing for years - however if you see my above comments I'm sure there are many DMB users that would be willing to work on the game at little cost - freeing up IS staff to work on IS and DMB-Live.

I've always been a 2DBB supporter (other than his posting worthless garbage in the off-topic section), but after last night I've also got to say I now understand why Dayne had a problem with 2DBB in the past - with his attempt to hijack the chat.

I can also understand Dayne's not wanting to combine the IS and DMB forums - with all of the negativity on the DMB forum (myself included at times). He made the comment that it may not be cost effective to keep the company supported forum running if it continued.
