Blueboy,

I seem to have gotten further than you with this process, but there's still an apparent snag (see below).

Are you aware of how to convert a DMB (at least a DMB9) zip file? Pat Gary does have (somewhat convoluted) instructions on his page -- go to http://www.geocities.com/patthebone/DiamondMind, then click the "Click Here for Instructions" link near the top of the page.

BUT, there is a simpler method that has always worked for me:

  1. Under "File," choose "Create new empty database ...". Follow through with what you need to do there.
  2. Under "File," choose "Restore ...". Follow through with what you need to do there.

That should always work, at least for a DMB9 zip file. And from what timz has said, above, it seems that it should work for a DMB8 file as well.

But here's the rub ... when I attempt to "Restore," I eventually get an error message, thus:

(This same problem does arise when I try using Pat Gary's original method of importing.)

Can anyone help get us beyond this point?

Thanks in advance,

Ken
