"thanks for taking my post the right way, I wasn't trying to bash ya"

I didn't take it that way at all, I thought you were very respectful since I was wrong in what Dayne said.

"but I also must say... how you keep a job in the major leagues is beyond me! "

I know your joking Elan, but I have never understood the criticism of Dusty Baker's managerial skills from Cub fans. In 10 seasons with the Giants he managed 10 years and only had THREE losing seasons, winning at least 90 games 5 times. His only mistake was giving Russ Ortiz the game ball in the 7th inning in game 6 against the Angels in the 2002 World Series. His last year with the Giants they were 95-66, now it isn't a good situation in the Bay Area.

With the "Billy Goat Cursed" Cubs he had winning seasons 2 out of 4 years, and his only mistake was not taking away Steve Bartman's playoff tickets. In fact he might be the only manager in Cub history to be that successful in 4 years, and then be let go.

Being a Dodger fan I met Dusty Baker when I was 12 years old and he was very polite and courteous signing autographs before a game, so I also might be biased too.
