As do I. And we're going to continue to be able to use the CDs. But suppose for a moment that for an annual fee you had the option of being able to play DMB online, not in a fantasy league (which I could care less about), but simply play. And every past season was available through that subscription, along with DMB-researched lineups and transactions and the best engine a reenergized Tom and group could come up with. That sounds pretty good to me, as long as it's an option and not the only way to play the game.

Caveat here: the new owner is a venture capitalist. That's clear from his bio. Venture capitalists have one purpose in life: to get bought out by bigger fish. And much of the language in the Simnasium post sounded like corporatespeak for just that. So I'm going to react to this by making another big purchase (my 3rd) of season disks, because I don't think we can count on the 40% discount indefinitely. I wouldn't do that if I didn't think we would see the 9b patch this fall and version 10 in 2007.
