Best way to share "live" games in a centralized league

What is the best way you all have found to "broadcast" games live in a centralized league where almost nobody has DMB? Most of the league members are on some chat program, but they're all on different ones. I have a client that can have individual chats with any of the protocols, but there isn't one that I know of that allows for a group chats across multiple chat clients.

So, what do you guys do? Set up a webex or similar? IRC? Try to get everyone to use the same...

ranking column on team total reports?

Is there a way (either in the enclyclopedia or in the game itself) to get a column on the team totals report which numbers the teams? I know i could export it to excel, but I would like to do it quickly

Can somebody please explain the steps I'd need to take to "deluxify" a classic season?

Also, where is the best place to find the actual transactions that took place? (I've used Baseball-Reference.com, but I don't think they include demotions and promotions to farm teams).

What if you lost your season(s) disk?

This is not to say if I had BUT what if you lost your season disk and wanted to reinstall? For example, I lost the 2004 Projection Season Disk but like a good little computer user, I made a "Backup" by going to "File>Backup" in the menu and then saved it too another drive or CD or what-not. Is there any way that I can reinstall the 2004 Projection Season Disk without the "original" season disk?

Just a question with me getting a new computer...

If I am in the middle of a season replay on my old laptop, can I get that season replay at it's current point onto my new computer and not have to worry about restarting, etc?

Have just purchased a new Dell Inspiron 546 running Windows 7. Have the original Diamond Mind Version 9 game disk.

Pls advise how to install -- I have no instructions. Is there a wizard? Windows 7 is different.

Extended Postseason Schedule...

Just me again.

I am, as you may know, replaying the 2009 postseason...and have completed the Division Series portion of the postseason and am now moving onto the League Championship Series.

My question - how do I generate the schedule for those games? I have some background, but I am not doing it accurately and the DMB disk does not generate the schedule for you beyond the Division...

Installing L/R splits

I just received Steve's fine upgraded 1964 L/R splits. I am having trouble importing them into the game. I opened the zip file, and extracted the files to my 1964 season folder, but that didn't seem to do anything.

Generate Reports for Postseason

I am currently replaying the 2009 MLB Postseason and noticed that I am having difficulty generating reports for team batting, batting leaders, team pitching, etc.

Is there a specific way to do this? I go through the routine that I thought worked, but nothing shows up.

Changing Fielding Ratings, etc

I want to change some fielding ratings - range, error rate, and Throwing Arm for OF & Catchers. My question is, just by changing the ratings Ex: Av to Vg - will this make the player automatically have more range or if throwing arm, better chance of throwing out runners during the course of season? Also, if I lower error rate Ex: 125 to 90 - will this theoretically lower the number of errors? Is this all I have to do??? Also, taking a step further, would this same logic apply to bunting,...

exporting transactions

When you export stats the final tab is transactions. Can you not move players from one team to another using this or is it only to promote and demote players? My league only allows trades at the break so all of my transactions have always been included in an exported database so I've never really learned about this feature. I just sent out the database for my LCS round but I accidentally made a trade before doing so that shouldn't have been included. I thought I could send my league...

The real transaction report for 1946 data disk shows that all real transaction for 1946 are present
Team roster screen, however, shows active rosters more than 25 for each team

Not sure if this is the right sub section, but here goes. I have taken a lot of the colour images from spos site to use in my game as I dislike the plain green/black images of DMB. I have recently changed to a 19" monitor so the images as well at the DMB screen are significantly bigger than they were on my old 14" one. Trilogy Installation

After downloading Trilogy onto my desktop, then placing it in the C:\dmb8 folder and extracting the contents of the zip file folder, I'm able to bring up "The Bridge" on my screen and view the contents of Base, Score, and Log Games; however, how do I access the weather, tunes, and attendance feature of Trilogy?

Creating a pre-season schedule

While fiddling with the options on reports, I noticed that there is an option to create a pre-season report. I scampered over to the Organizer to see if I could create a pre-season schedule, which could then be tied into the regular season, which would then just slide right into the post-season. Alas, pre-season was not an option... am I missing something here?

If in a league and person who runs league/ sends out stats is still on VER 9, while some owners use VER 10 will this work, or must everyone be on same version?
