			<description><![CDATA[ Clearly no team in Baseball can compete with the Yankees revenue stream.  The Mets are one of the big spenders in the NL.  Surely the healthiest thing for
competitive balance in MLB would be a new team in the most densely populated area of the country.  Put them in the AL and the same division as the Yankees. 
That would insure great ticket sales for 9 home dates and with lower prices (due to lower quality product) transplants might  attend games to see their

Tonight&#39;s game between the Angels and the Yankees. First the bad call against Nick Swisher. Then the bad call against Mike Napoli. Both verified as bad
calls via &quot;the tape&quot;.

WTF.

This is 2009, yet instant replay hasn&#39;t found its way into settling disputed calls by imperfect umpires. No decent reason why not. Turns the whole game
into a farce.

			<description><![CDATA[ I am not a Minnesota Twins&#39; fan and definitely not a Yankee fan but there should be an overide to the rule that gives the 1st place team the power to force
the winner of a one game playoff to scramble in the early hours of the morning to be ready to play the next day. The Yankees should be proud they defeated a
team that was riding on fumes. Wouldn&#39;t it be great if Bud Selig had any say in the matter and could use some common sense?  Why not have the two rested

			<description><![CDATA[ The Major League Baseball Network has weekly great games from the past. The last two were seventh game Dodgers vs Twins and first game of Tigers vs Cardinals.
All this great pitching from Sandy Koufax and Bob Gibson and you know what I notice? Bill Freehan&#39;s away jersey has his number 11 on his left sleeve while
the rest of the Tiger players have the number on the right side. Was this just a mistake by the maufacturer or did Freehan prefer to keep his throwing arm
clear of double ones.... ]]></description>

pitch count of 100 that&#39;s currently the benchmark isn&#39;t conservative enough? Maybe it should be 3 pitchers scheduled to pitch 3 inings every game,
perhaps that will save all these young arms from overuse and abuse and prolong their careers. ]]></description>
